Wine of the week – Domaine De L’Engarran 2010, La Lionne Pays D’Oc

The Vin Pays d’Oc wines are traditionally elegant and modern or refined and contemporary. They come from France’s Languedoc-Roussilon and receive this label for meeting strict production quality criteria from this Wine Producers Union.
Black currant and blackberry notes characterize this velvety blend of Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Grenache, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Called “The Lioness,” the wine undergoes 12 months of being aged in the barre.The Grill Family has made wines here in the Languedoc since 1923 with a long tradition of quality.
