A rosé from the Italian hillsides around Trento

Italy’s Trento is south of Alto Adige, a central Alpine region of the country, where Cantine Ferrari is producing gorgeous sparkling wines from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Blanc. The winery dates to 1902 and today, is known for its wide range of signature, estate-grown and Riserva Lunelli (new) wines as well as what is said to be Italy’s most awarded cuvee, Giulio Ferrari.
Bubbles are always delicious and perhaps even more so when they’re pink! The Ferrari rosé is a highly accessible rosé that is made from a premium blend of 60 percent Pinot Nero (vinified as a rosé) and 40 percent Chardonnay. It’s 12.5 percent alcohol by volume. The first vintage was made in 1969.
Elegant and fragrant, the wine is dry and refined with a lingering finish.
