What’s Brewin’ – Goose Island Ten Hills Pale Ale

Idaho’s Elk Mountain Farms, which grows exceptional hops known for their character, sells its hops to Goose Island from the “first ten hills,” and hence the name for this pale ale with an herbal and citrus hoppiness. You’ll be happy (hoppy?) sipping this 6.2% alcohol brew, copper in color with Perle, Cascade and US Saaz hops, as well as 2-Row, Caramel 20, Caramel 40 and Munich malt. It’s a seasonal brew – December through March –but we were fortunate to find some in late March and stock up! It is available as draft or bottled beer.
