Newport Mansions Wine & Food Festival draws 3,000 attendees
NEWPORT, RI – The annual Newport Mansions Wine & Food Festival last weekend drew 3,ooo aficionados to the Grand Tastings at the Marble House where they sampled wines from around the globe and enjoyed cuisine from local, regional and national restaurants and purveyors. In addition to numerous events and the opportunity to mingle with Chef Jacques Pepin and his daughter, Claudine, Lydia Shire and others and attend educational seminars, attendees had a new event option, The Vintner Dinner – Women in Whites, featuring Jennifer Jolie, Annie B. Equinox Fitness plans new luxury boutique hotels
NEW YORK – Equinox Fitness named Christopher Norton, former president, global product and chief operating officer of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, to become chief executive officer of its new chain of small, boutique luxury properties which it expects to grow to 50 units worldwide. The first $2 billion property is currently under construction at Hudson Yards here, expected to open in 2019.
