Boston Seafood Festival announces chef demos

BOSTON – The sixth annual Boston Seafood Festival, set for Sunday, August 13 on the Fish Pier, announces the lineup of chef demonstrations from noon to 4:15 p.m., emceed by Chef Jeff Mushkin, culinary coordinator, Boston Fisheries Foundation.

Participating chefs include:

Chefs will create their dishes incorporating Boston’s finest seafood products on demonstration stages as they entertain and share expert cooking tips and serving samples of their finished items.

12:00 – 12:30 pm 12:45 – 1:15pm 1:30 – 2:00pm

2:15 – 2:45pm 3:15 – 4:15pm

The major seafood event of the summer takes over the historic Fish Pier from 11am – 7:00pm.

Tickets are $15.00 and are available at Proceeds underwrite Boston Seafood Festival and in part support the work of the Boston Fisheries Foundation, a not-for profit organization which preserves and protects the local seafood industry’s long-term viability as well as safeguards the ocean’s present and future natural resources.
