The Spirit(s) World – Maurin Quina Le Puy

This French liqueur initially was created in 1906 by Auguste Maurin in LePur en Velay, France, made famous by the green devil art by an Italian artist, Leonetto Cappiello, on the bottle. Made from cherries, quinine and bitter almonds, macerated in fortified white wine, it offers a delicate and fruity beverage, served as an aperitif. Maurin is also a producer of vermouths, both red and white. Visit http://www.anchordistilling.com/spirits.
