The New England Food Show, opening Sunday, March 13 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, is launching a new event – a first-ever after after party at 6 p.m. at Empire at One Marina Park Drive in the Fort Point Channel. Called The Toast, the event will be a celebration of all that’s going on in the industry in New England this year. Attendees will also have the chance to cheer on local mixologists during the first round of the Star of the Bar Boston regional.
Starting at 6:00PM, ambitious mixologists from Greater Boston will craft their best cocktail using Jägermeister during this two-hour long competition judged by a panel of media, previous Star of the Bar champions, and cocktail personalities. The top three competitors will advance to the Boston Final held on the Show Floor of the New England Food Show at the Boston Convention and Events Center on Monday, March 14th, 2016. Boston’s finalist will win a trip to Chicago where they’ll represent the region in the annual Star of the Bar competition and have a chance to claim the ultimate title at the finals in Chicago and a prize of $5,000
