InterContinental Barclay in NYC gets transformation

NEW YORK – The InterContinental Barclay hotel in Manhattan is open after a $180 million renovation designed to honor its 1926 Federal-style heritage yet meet the needs of today’s guests. All 704-rooms were renovated and two new ballrooms added. The back-of-the-house also underwent upgrades. Shawmut Design and Construction and Stonehill + Taylor architects did the major project. Health & welfare plans impacted by new regulations

WOBURN, MA – USI Insurance Services LLC lets restaurants know that effective August 1, 2016, civil monetary penalties will increase for many compliance-related items including some that impact health and welfare plans. A new Schedule J that will impact all health plans regardless of size were released by the U.S. Department of Labor.
