What’s Brewin’ – Pretty Things Beer & Ale Project’s new brews

Pretty Things Beer && Ale Project launched a new beer last night at The Independent in Somerville, MA – the 1955 Double Brown, a rich and hearty beer reflective of one first brewd in London in 1955. It’s part of Dann and Martha Paquette’s Once Upon A Time Series which takes historical documents and creates beers inspired from them. In 1955 post-war London, unemployment was low, rock’n roll music was rising and this beer inspired by that era reflects the easing of rationing in its higher ABV of 5.1 %.
It’s a low-bodied malty way to celebrate and one that joins Pretty Things’ creative lineup of unique, well-crafted brews.
