What’s Brewin’

Gordon Biersch Brewing Company has relatively limited distribution in our region but it would be nice to see them enter the Northeast! Their Braumeister Select Weizen Eisbock is a big wheat Bock, unfiltered, with big flavor.
The brew was produced using a technique said to be created by a “forgetful brewer from Germany’s Kulmbach Brewery who accidentally left bock beer kegs outside on the coldest winter days. Today, water molecules are frozen out of the brew and removed, so the alcohol and flavor of the resulting ale is concentrated.
If you’re a fan of dark, rich beers, this one’s for you! Prost!
