Wine of the Week – Lolita Ravishing Red Italian Primitivo

Lolita Ravishing Red Italian Primitivo from the Puglia region of Southern Italy. This Primitivo Di Manduria 2011 is a bright red with notes of cherries and plums. The Lolita wines are from Lolita Healey, the founder/CEO of “Wines by Lolita,” creator of hand-painted wine glasses. The Primitivo is soft and smooth, pairing with cheeses, meats and standing on its own as well. The wine launched recently, part of a collection that includes a white Falanghina and a sparkling Aglianico.
